whats the best CRT in a relatively small form factor heard the sony BVMs are top tier, any specific model for those?

I thought this required an upscaler or linedoubler like the Framemeister or OSSC (which would still be cheaper than a BVM) but maybe Typo knows something I don't.

I've seen people set them up with GCN component cables then converting that to VGA
