Damage/number nerfs are almost always not enough in fgs tho, and with a game with so many similar chars theres no reason to stay loyal if it ever does change enough.

I think the pichu nerfs are in an okay direction in theory, but pichu was already argued to be heavily overrated and now theres not much reason to not just pick pikachu or another small combo char like wario.

Like, nerf his self damage is great. Reducing ftilts kill power by a ridic amount will just make the matches take longer and makes ledge trapping/edgeguarding much worse.

Yup that's exactly what I'm saying. Nerfing his ftilt was an example of removing a win condition, and too many nerfs of that nature are how you gut a char Overall they haven't really been doing nerfs like that, which makes me mostly happy
