To note: I would enter Ultimate as long as schedule allows me, and play PT since I didnt get to at GOML. It's a bit unfortunate that melee is hitting record numbers yet the top players are getting paid less than ever (relatively). I'm not going to do this often, but -
since I already went to GOML last week and I'm going to the Mango + Summit week after + apartment shit I think it hopefully should be understandable why. I'll be streaming a lot to hopefully make the subgoal though, SmashNSplash is a great event and I hope I can make it :)

We know the smash community is jipped when it comes to getting paid for how much work you all put in. Keep grinding man, I feel like it will pay off eventually. If people don't understand then they just don't understand the situation at all.

It just makes sense. I’m not sure how much you got but I saw Zain got $75 for 7th out of 400+ entrants. Anyone would be crazy to sacrifice their source of income to compete. That would be like taking an unpaid vacation from work with them deducting money from you while gone.
I love seeing you compete but I don’t hold it against you. Take care of yourself because your quality of life matters and you matter.
