Obviously this isn't the majority but a few of these smash4/ultimate players are straight up insecure as fuck when someone suggests that they find melee more fun/technical even when it's an opinion, because that apparently equals attacking them and their game for whatever reason

Tbh what’s “wrong with them” is probably the fact that they’ve been trying to cope with having their favorite game(s) trashed by the melee community for years. We let a divide happen between us and it has long term effects I think
