I don't think Snake and Olimar are that oppressive, but the fact that ultra defensive characters with terrible movement who use like 3 moves for 99% of their neutral and have one combo each are doing well at all makes me sad. I straight up just don't watch matches with them.
I feel like half of ultimates chars are really boring by design tbh, and most people only like watching duck hunt, samus and pac man etc do well because they are rare, because they are just as campy and boring as snake and olimar for me. Idk maybe thats just me.
The hell are you talking about? Most characters have like 3 moves in their neutral. Pikachu has tjolt nair and quick attack. Fox has dash attack nair and maybe back air. This makes no sense
Well, those two characters you just mentioned emphasize actually moving and spacing your moves differently, in a relatively fast manner, as opposed to olimar and snake etc where they are hilariously immobile. Obv I want more diverse neutral for those too tho.

Melee Fox sure, but Ultimate Fox is hardly difficult to play other than dealing with his poor disadvantage/offstage.

No it's just boring to watch campy characters projectile spam. In any game.
I really hate how whenever leffen states an opinion people just say “You just want it to be melee”. Just comes off as very ignorant to me
