its not pointless, if it was 7 frames then you wouldnt even have time to guess, and since no DI gets combod/tippered youd have a WAY lower success rate. Please dawg, im trying not to be sassy but you clearly have not done your research on how this works. its very basic DI theory.

Leffen's saying it's possible to react to/predict the grab and DI to avoid pivot tipper. 2saint is saying it's not possible to react to the throw to DI properly all the time regardless of what Marth does. You're both correct, you're just arguing different points.

Not at all. He first says the grab startup is "literally pointless", then says "You only have the time to guess cause of the 10+7 = 17 thing we were just talking about" right after. He is clearly wrong, not arguing different points at all.

Yeah I think it’s pointless because I already know I’m gonna get grabbed idc about that I wanna know which way I should DI but I can’t know because the grab is to fast but since I have 17 frames I get to take a guess. If I did good DI I just won the RPS but Marth still gets a gun
