I think the most important thing about Mario is that his dair is a kill move now and he multiple ways to set it up so he doesn't have to fish for kill as hard as he used to.

Mario’s Nair, Bair, and fair all come out faster. Same with his down tilt I think. Plus he’s a lot lighter and can fall out of combos that Dr. just can’t
