I still think Snake & Olimar are not as strong as others think they are and that they will get worse with time - but obviously I also realize that my month 1/2 opinion on the characters was definitely off the mark. I blame wishful thinking LOL

What do you see holding back Olimar?
People getting better at pressuring in general (not common at all in 4 so understandable) Edgeguarding him (same) and understanding exactly what each pikmin does and how it encourages them to play. Stuff like specific knowledge on how pikmin interact will take a LONG time

I feel like edgeguarding him is deceptively hard but I probably need to lab more. He can stall a lot and go to the opposite side of stages

It is but if you do hit him he dies early, same with ledge trapping. Learning the tricks etc help a lot but its still hard af
