I get this but I wish you framed it that way from the beginning because despite your intentions it just looks like you are trying to paint the Ult scene is a bad light, seems less constructive to me and more like hating. But maybe you think thats necessary to spark the fire?

Just nicely telling people to play more isn't really going to do much in my experience. I wish more people would see the fact that I can beat people with years of 4 exp and active offline scene with how little I get to play as proof that they are not practicing hard enough.
(obv i got fundamentals from melee and its not smash 4 but still)
yeah tbh I do think that I personally have been to apprehensive to really approach players and grind at big tourneys, all we can really do is inspire others through our actions I suppose. I would enjoy to see a culture shift tbh
