ruins the hype for the actual tournament, esp when the overlay doesnt even say that its not the real tournament. just run fucking crews or some shit instead, not a regular singles bracket with no restrictions. also really, catch up with people by playing them in bracket????

The friendly setup thing is true. But I can’t see how a pre tournament takes any hype away from the actual event, if anything it creates more hype and anticipation.

Maybe you missed what I meant by “catching up,” I meant socially seeing oor friends again, like a social thing. I’ve never seen ppl take the pre-tourney THAT seriously either, it’s usually just a warmup and $-making opportunity, like a weekly. But u rite about the logo thing

Exactly...HOW? I see these Pre-tourneys and personally think: FUCK YES! More top player sets! More chances to see see Leo, Zackray, Glutto playing! And there's a bigger tournament after that!? It's not like all top players were in, even if so I wouldn't mind seeing them twice

True it is wack the overlay doesn’t indicate it’s not a real tournament. I guess random ditto tournament like summit would be better too. I thought you just didn’t like any pre-tournament before the actual tournament.
