i feel like comparing month 4 ultimate with year 4 smash wii u with tons of dlc/patches will give you some skewed takes. I agree that I ultimate doesn't allow for as nuanced/deep/offensive/hype gameplay as it could have tho. ...if only there was some other game that had that :)
that said: Heres my personal list of things I hate. parrying is way too badly implemented. the edge sucks. 2 framing sucks. rage sucks. No DI+SDI sucks. Multi hits never working properly despite no di/sdi?!?!? Dash dancing feels awful. Buffer. Grab sucks. Online. Stages suck.
Agreed Also, please: - let us start skip victory screen - keep character selection after a match - remember alts to tag (or at the least to the console owner) - overhaul GSP and let us change characters without changing opponents - separate modes for competitive and casual online
- faster loading for alts - better music settings (not having to change music one by one) - hazards off toggle at stage selection - make "ready to fight" & "go" graphics less obstructive - fix c stick - toggle option for short hop macro - Reduce smoke effect for doubles at least
i agree with that all except the stages lol, the stages are literally better then they have been in any game (maybe with the exception of pm).
Every stage feels the same besides Lylat and a few others, melee while only having 6 legal stages all feels way more different, size, blastzones, platforms.
Could definitely use more Poke Floats

Can’t run through people is one of the worst things about the game.
If you think not being able to run through opponents is the worst thing about this game, you must have issues.
