People will of course complain about defensive play, but they also complain about everything. To me the largest difference in mindset is the arguments for rule changing/bans which other fighting game heads then ridicule because it’s different to them.
big difference is also that melee never had patches to fix things and theres far fewer games. people just ragequit sfxt because they didnt need to play a bad patch
Yeah, and people rage quit Marvel for it being both overly degenerate with offense and because the defensive strategies were too powerful too. Every game has broken stuff, just have to find the game with broken stuff you enjoy playing/watching.
What if the game I find fun is 2015 melee :(
