haikyuus start (outside of the first like 2 eps) kinda suck, esp compared to others like it like kuroko i think the pacing of a fair bit of the matches are off too

I think it depends on what you are looking for. What draws a lot of people to Haikyuu is its authenticity to the sport. Its a bit slow to start because not only does it need to introduce the cast, but the mechanics/strategies of the game as well.
