(close in terms of placement, i still think peach/inkling/pichu are significantly better characters than even other "top tiers") I just gotta figure out how to play vs small boys

Personally, my gameplan against the small chars is to play more evasive, zone them out with falling fair, poke with dtilt / ftilts. It's a lot less rewarding that Roy's usual aggro play, but if he can keep winning neutral eventually he can find spots to hit them hard in scrambles

footsies with jab and dtilt is where I find success and further conditioning from there. It is still hard though

A good tip is to open up combos by dash jabbing using a downward diagonal tilt to hit shorter characters. Takes a little practice t def helps.
