we dont talk about fiction theres been a bunch of bad smash 4 player takes since the game came out, far more than just salem/false (dont forget ally too lol), ESPECIALLY around summit voting. not gonna name any (more) names cuz ive beefed enough on twitter for now lmao

Its cause experiencing the voting is new to us. It was just as bad the first time they introduced it for melee, mad people were complaining about it iirc Its also not just fiction, theres just a lack of spotlight/attention to melee players' bad takes unlike S4 players lol

thats because outside of fiction its literally nobodies who say this shit in the short span of ultimate theres been multiple top level smash 4 players whove said incredibly stupid shit already also the first melee summit was a looooong time ago really not comparable

Not gonna name them, but I've seen 2 melee top players call Ultimate Smash 4.5 when it came out. I consider that a bad take as well since it disrespects the amount of work they put in to make the game I'm just saying bad takes come from everyone, not just just Smash 4 players

it was literally less than 24 hours after the game came out it just looked stupid to some because 90% of all smash 4 players pirated the game 2 weeks ahead of time so to them it was obviously not true pretty easy to tell you did too now ;)
