Absolutely, this should be a no brainer. Those you have information on should be rated over those you have none on. The pro point system in other esports exists heavily for that reason. Playing in & placing at events should get you an advantage over those that don’t.

What do you mean, specifically? I'm on your side with this whole G6 seeding issue, but do you mean people who attend tournaments regardless of results, or people who attend a handful of tournaments but place well at them? Because I'd go with "yes" for both anyway.

I think the idea is that a larger sample size of tournament games should be a relevant factor. Someone who has attended 7 different tournaments with top4/8 appearances >>> someone who won his only tournament with a 100% win rate.
