To clarify Game 2 P1 Bans DL uses Marth and loses to P2 Game 3 P2 bans FD, P1 now CPs to DL & changes his character to Puff? There's no hard rule that stops that iirc, so why wouldn't you be allowed to? So yes, you can. If bans are lock for the set, that's a different ruleset

That isnt how it works though. If the puff bans dreamland, then their opponent gets to go to their strongest counterpick. Opponent wins and they get to ban dreamland again, meaning you wasted your ban.

You can counter pick a stage you've banned in rulesets where the bans change every game. In games where bans are done at the end of game one and are static you may not. Trick question headass

Bans are only in effect per game in Ultimate as far as I know. They reset after every game. In other words, yes.
