as much as I can understand that,I don't need a hard game, but I do want a game that at least uses the fact that its a game rather than a book or video. I think nier fails at utilizing this in the core gameplay loop completely while suceeding in it sometimes during story missions
it so sad to watch a cool bossfight with cutscenes and story tied into it and yet the actual fight makes me so bored and upset by just spamming potions and square that it creates a major disconnect which really ruins the otherwise stellar story/music.

Yeah, as much as I really liked the game too, I can't really disagree with any of this. I want to do a second play through to get to all the content that I missed, but am really uninterested in when you play as 9S.

I guess the PC port never got patched. Hopefully the fix someone made is still around. Combat-wise, I say the movement like dodging is my favorite of any action game. Can do some neat stuff like cancel animations with self-destruct, but yea combat isn't Bayo good. Sorry Leff.

fix still does not fix the large majority of the problems sadly. cutscenes ares still like 15 fps which is fatal when the entire point of the game is the story. it majorly breaks immersion. i heard on ps4 it wasnt consistent 60 either.
