Naw no prob. Damn! Sorry you're having a subpar experience with it :< Personally I accept most single player games are too ez these days so I just play em for the story/music ahah
as much as I can understand that,I don't need a hard game, but I do want a game that at least uses the fact that its a game rather than a book or video. I think nier fails at utilizing this in the core gameplay loop completely while suceeding in it sometimes during story missions

it so sad to watch a cool bossfight with cutscenes and story tied into it and yet the actual fight makes me so bored and upset by just spamming potions and square that it creates a major disconnect which really ruins the otherwise stellar story/music.

(also the game basically makes you play the worst part of it twice before actually starting)

This is my exact problem with so many popular single player games. I remember watching my roommate play The Last of Us and it just looked like he was playing a movie. Not interesting.

That's why usually just watch videos of playthroughs without commentary because yeah it's pretty much just a movie but you have control.
