on another topic, does any character actually have a good matchup vs Inkling? I feel like they are so incredibly strong at what they wanna do and yet still have basically 0 abusable weaknesses. Help me understand how to beat this char!

imo ofc, just my exp: Fox wins, he can dance around shield with buttons and Inkling has no real frontal burst OOS. he dictates pace of match easily and is harder to edgeguard than you'd think Ink also slight loses to swords, particularly control ones like Lucina

I can not see inkling not being able to edgeguard spacies lmao. I have an hard time seeing fox beating them on stage hard enough to make up for a huge edge guarding difference, but i do agree its prob one of the closer mus.

admittedly i had Fox problem in S4 i never fixed so it might just be me lol that said tho i don't think Inkling can get out to Illusion distance fast enough to get big hit (fair/bair) and if you just intercept with nair, you get ~8% and lose stage since he jumps and side b's

Why would inkling not get out fast enough? Theyre one of the fastest chars in air and on ground with 4 fast aerials that all work as an edgeguard
