My DLSR has the same issue. I wish I could use it for production but no way to remove overlay <.<

The Canon G series are the same camera body and sensor as XA series without the XLR line in handle for much cheaper - we use a G30 for commentary and a G40 for stage overhead, which we bought for under $800 used. That said, the AX33 mentioned above is probably the best for the $
