i dont understand how they thought this was fine. i get that casual players are their main audience and likely have lower standards, but i bet casuals would still enjoy a premium online experience. 
Super smash bros ultimate has perhaps the worst online matchmaking/netcode of any AAA game - for its time - ever. I like the game a lot but that just makes this so much worse.

It really bothers me that reviews started coming in before any outlets got a chance to test this out. It is inconceivable to me that a company would give a game a 10/10 without being able to test one of the most crucial aspects.
