people seem to enjoy it whenever Hungrybox and I play. She herself is not necessarily boring but she can easily be played boring. The faster characters are harder to be boring with cause well you're fast so not as obvious. You have to really go out of your way to make her cool
I dont think the majority of people enjoy puff matches nearly as much as other melee matches. i know I dont. The big problem isnt that puff can't do a cool edgeguard or two hit kill combo, its that the opponent cant do it back. No character can combo puff in a good or cool way.
That's fine, I dislike Fox dittos but they're still fine to watch. Not every matchup needs to be appealing to the majority Anti-Puff combos will arise since the meta is shifting as more puffs being around. Although they certainly will be hard to perform but possible (ie:Zain)
ive done and talked about pivot fsmash since 2012, its far from new and when puffs learn to di it itll be much worse.
You cant edgeguard puff. You cant approach puff. You cant kill combo puff. You cant juggle puff. Meanwhile she can do all these things to the entire cast. There's no risk and no back n forth to it, so it becomes terribly boring very quickl
puff matches have appeal but it’s limited, honestly i like hbox but I feel like he pops off the way he does bc he knows the way puff fights is uneventful and he feels he has to dramaticize it a little, not that there’s anything wrong w that lol
