but one thing I’ve noticed among smash char difficulty tier lists is that it’s easier to see your main as more intricate and harder to use because you know the finer nuances of playing them in competition. ez af to downgrade difficulty of other chars IMO

Obviously this can happen. but I feel like this isnt nearly as true/common for melee where most top players have very good exp using most top tiers and the game is much more explored.

This might be a naive, small brain question, but why is Falco's difficulty to use lower than Fox? Falco always feels comparatively more difficult to play, but I am not a high level player obviously.

Falco plays much more similarly in matchup to matchup, and has easier combos/confirms (no reaction techchasing, fewer links) . Also doesnt need ledgedashing as much which is big
