I'm finding bardock to be really good. The assist isn't anything special for him, but you do get some unique conversions and it can be used to get people out of the air The DHC synergy is really nice and bardock can use the vegeta glitch to make post lvl 3 mix do serious damage.

Vegeta assist also gives nice pushback for blockstring, lariat, vegeta into crossup j. L to work.
