Nah i dont think this is a thing, at least not significant at all. All the fast characters are proof, zelda would be the least affected lol

Sonics/inklings jump is not extremely different (if at all) doing it from dash or shield.

really? the inputs i did was holding the direction of run and tapping jump does that mean that particular jump i got was the same as neutral short hop with full right-drift?

I was going to comment that you wouldn't really be able to tell with zelda. From videos it looks like the factor to keep the momentum is small, I didn't see MKLeo do any long jumps with sonic
