I originally didn't think this but I honestly agree. In only nerfing two of the top characters they've actually decreased variety rather than increased it, as people just dropped their 16's and Vegetas for Cell, GB or Bardock.

Also Vegeta's prepatch assist was one of the things keeping certain Mid and Low tiers viable. Ginyu and Nappa with Vegeta assist went from low to high or mid tier with it, now they don't have a solid way to patch up a lot of their weaknesses.

I think the Gohan nerf made it better since he was the most boring top tier to play against, but vegeta assist nerf narrowed down viability to very specific characters. They honestly just need to nerf both Cell and Kid Buu and then I think it would be fine. Since Cell is wakamoto
