I do real reporting from real places with real people. Past two months: on maskless life in Northern Florida, on teachers protesting teaching in school, on the Capitol Riots. So I just preregistered as media, which puts me at very bottom of Phase I, Subphase C.

Old people are vastly more likely to die from COVID. Larry Hogan and Ron DeSantis are vaccinating them first. That bothers reporters and Democrats. I find that odd.

Maybe touch base with the Catholic schools? They’ve been doing it right since at least last September...

Basically the county health authority Is fear mongering. Daily new cases is below 10/100k and falling. 14-day positivity is below 4% and falling.

Credit where it's due: I didn't think Biden would deliver on the "Kid Cages at 100% Capacity Amid Pandemic" campaign promise this quickly.

I don't really even know what "New Orleans Inspired" restaurant means, but it appeals to me. I do hope the place opens

Ah, now the website says Spring 2021. That means soon! But they didn't hit late 2019, so will they hit Spring 2021?

I, for one, already speak about scallops or 68-degree April days in terms that make ladies blush and would be inappropriate in front of children.

...For me, I coach, teach Sunday school, and report from real places with real (often maskless) people. I still haven't considered myself worthy to get in on MoCo's Tier 1, even though possibly I could.

...Like if teachers get a higher tier, but you know you will not teach in person. Or if media is, but you're a copy editor who only works from home. Is there an ethical problem with getting into tier 1 through one of these avenues, if you're otherwise healthy?
