These people are so selfish and ignorant, along with that store owner. They won’t take it seriously until someone close to them dies and by then it’ll be too late.

Ignorance seems to be celebrated in some circles. Biden has certainly pushed for people to wear masks for the next 100 days, but it was ultimately only a concerned request. He can't force the local yokels of Naples to care for themselves or others.
