    So, this is an interesting one. Tl;dr - top players could make more money if they didn't have to go through unpredictable open brackets. Thing is, I highly doubt most of the scene - FGC or Smash - wants that.

    One big thing I always see for FGC is a love of open brackets & not treating their players like celebrities. So that would be a seismic cultural shift. Though I doubt more invitational events would hurt. Do you think invitationals in addition to open brackets would help?

    Actually a really interesting incident. I don't think we have an issue with this in Smash because there's an unofficial honor code of sorts. But this is REALLY good advice in general.

    I think what broadcasters in esports need to realise is that YOUR OFFICIAL stream should offer me as a viewer more value than a player's personal stream. I should want to watch the broadcast with commentators, replays, camera reactions and analysis.

    Another day, another controversy surrounding the right to stream gameplay from someone else’s event. Organizers do NOT own the rights to gameplay. Period. 3rd parties can stream your event through a demo, DotaTV, etc. But, rules CAN stop participants from doing so via contract.

    Spending my work day reading up on GDPR & watching Megalo Box :O GDPR is particularly interesting in that... you can tell who's business relies on cold emailing by what they leave out. 😂

    Update: My only other controller with snapback reduction is borked. So I have no way of testing. All I know for certain is that my second stick does rarely stop working altogether on my current controller. But that shouldn't affect movement. Will continue to monitor.

    I high key need a new controller so I can finally determine whether this sluggish feeling is my controller messing up (b/c I already know the second stick randomly doesn't work) or if it's me. Don't care which, but I can't fix what I don't know is wrong.
