    Happy that , where I did my masters, is on the list. But we be careful not to crash the global economy this way. Many people who work for the fossil fuel industry and the pension funds that invest. Transition must be thought out.

    Huge News is going carbon negative by 2030. 2030-2050 they will remove all emissions created since their founding in 1975. Including direct emission & those from their supply and value chain. World's 2nd largest company is going to change the World.

    UK electricity generation has been completely transformed in the last 10 years - to almost zero coal use. Now challenges for the next ten years - increase production at the same time as reducing gas use down to zero. Possible with the right Government incentives.

    It used to be that consumer electronics drove lithium-ion storage battery development, this year, electric vehicles became the prime mover. By 2025 EV demand for lithium-ion batteries to be more than x4 greater than demand from consumer electronics.
