1) I feel like PvT leans slightly in Protoss' favor at the moment and Innovation hasn't impressed me much in the matchup. Lost to Trap and had more trouble with Patience than I expected. Showtime has played well and hasn't had to show any PvT yet. There's upset potential there.
2) Easily the hottest take is Zest beating Serral. But I don't think Serral has looked as dominant, especially ZvP, as he did last year. He didn't have it easy against sOs and lost to Hurricane. Zest's PvZ looks much better than both.
And Zest specifically excels at the timing and execution-based playstyle that Serral struggled a little against. In hot take land, this upset is possible.
3) Solar over Dark is just a hunch. Incredibly enough, they're 40-40 against each other in maps. They've beaten each other across all kinds of series. Complete 50/50 for me.
4) Stats beats sOs because he's the better player, and he beats Maru because I favor Protoss, and specifically Stats, in the matchup. Stylistically also a good matchup for Stats.
5) Rogue beats Solar because he's already preparing for a ZvZ and gets to watch his opponent first, then beats Stats because he matches up well against Stats stylistically. Zest would beat Rogue for similar reasons - PvZ looks good for Protoss who hit and execute timings well.
