Just the President Obama did when he let people use kids to get into the country or Bill Clinton did when he ok'd separating children from their parents back in 1996?

Fake news. It was Trump and Sessions who made a ZERO TOLERANCE law.

You mean they are enforcing the law by not letting illegal immigrants disregard our borders? You remember the dead kids they found in the desert after catch and release let anybody with a kid through right? Yeah keeping them safe is way worse...

Resorting to name calling already, that was quick. You conveniently forget all of this is coming to a head because of liberal policy that disregarded border enforcement. This has been percolating since 96, where was the outrage anytime between then and now? There was none.

Its a shame liberals in action stand for Identity politics, controlling what people say and do and forcing an ever encroaching reliance on government aid. It would be nice if that definition where the practice though, I agree on that.

First off, that policy was not Trump's. That was a law put in place during Obama's era. However, what are facts over feelings? Secondly, like all paper publishings, as of yesterday you're a little late and out-of-date.

For the hundredth time this was a policy enacted by sessions and trump. Stop lying. You wouldn't go to jail for not having a seatbelt on

Not wearing a seat belt is a little different than people coming into the country illegally. You are saying that if we simply didn't prosecute (as in the past), we wouldn't have this problem. I guess if we simply didn't drive cars, we wouldn't have a seat belt problem, either.

So why are even those who come to legal ports of entry being arrested before getting there? Stop this nonsense dude. Immigration is down a whole whole lot. Even trump's appointees say it. There is no rampage at the borders.

Then there is this story from the UK Daily mail which blows this whole cover to pieces. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5869829/Father-two-year-old-face-child-separation-crisis-speaks-out.html … The mother took the child to the US without talking to the father leaving behind three kids so she coudl find a better job. IF TRUE THIS IS DEVISTATING!

None of that matters and none of that is our business. My concern is that our government now has them and thousands of other migrants in detention facilities. Full stop.

You are right... this does not excuse the wider story... BUT we have to accept the facts presented here as well. This shows why we need to detain, and vet people before we let them in. Some people lie.
