I agree. Welfare was SUPPOSED to be a source to supplement income. It wasn’t meant to be a main means of income which it is now. The elderly need supplemented way more than a lazy 30 yr old who’s only function is a baby making factory. Don’t @ me; I’m right.

And before anybody says it, this administration realizes the difference between able-bodied individuals and those that are not. Those individuals receive disability checks, and that's fine. Again, what's wrong with this requirement?

A nod to FDR's WPA programs maybe? That was when people were too proud to take a hand out and wanted to work for their keep. With our infrastructure crumbling, maybe we can combine the two needs and really accomplish something.
