My husband was told by his Grannie that she was part Cree Indian. Great story passed down. My kids were thrilled. I did genealogy on both sides back to 1500's. Nothing. Did DNA test-- English, Irish, Danish. Disappointed. Moral: don't always believe your Grannie.
