  If she cut funding just to replace it with federal relief money what happens when the federal funding from Cares is exhausted? How long is it for? Will Whitmer then reallocate the missing money back to the police and corrections to make them whole? I bet not.

  I agree at first review it looked like a defunding effort. My concern is all the other damage her orders have done. The state economy is in the tank, drug use is up, crime is up, and the people still feel like they are jailed in their own homes.
