Good read. Something to think about is the inept police administration who have no idea regarding progressive discipline especially for the same violations. Great documentation, remedial training & re-assignment to desk duty are a few. It's a game, work it.

Crazy, no one on the left has a clue. Minnesota has been a progressive's dream for many years now, ruled by leftist democrats. None of them have asked who defended or kept that cop on the payroll. They don't want to think that their unions kept them there.

This is a great idea! Unions can be a gift and a curse. I personally dislike unions in general because I find that industries that use them tend to have a poor employee moral. It’s safe to say it’s because of the protection they receive even if the discipline is warranted.

It’s possibly a good idea Herman, but the argument from the left would be that: disbanding the unions would make it virtually impossible for good officers that are being wrongly targeted by their superiors to get justice without a union backing them. There are bad leaders also!

I thought being too old to do restraint now was why I should retire then remembered all the life saved by me when I supervised others who where mostly refugees . I stopped many minority staff from hurting autistic kids at a home. Now I want my job back but too vulnerable at 73
