IMO, part of the reason why it seems violence against PoC is grossly disproportionate is that the media (and by extension, we) deal with violence disproportionately. Tony Timba was killed by Dallas PD in a sickeningly similar manner to George Floyd. Was it a national news story?

Respectfully I say, my white ancestors suffered terrible trauma in their native Poland & came here to toil in poverty. My dad ate apple cores off the street. I DO NOT dwell on their plight. STOP DWELLING ON YEARS PAST. Focus education on how far you've come.
