In 65 yrs I've never seen a Republican/Conservative spit on a soldier, call them "baby-killers", "war-criminals", "monsters", & "imperialists." I've only seen Leftists and Democrats do that. Not all Leftists and Democrats of course, but ONLY Leftists and Democrats. Why is that?

The military doesn't name the installations. In the case of Fort Benning, Congress authorized the establishment of the camp in the fall of 1918, and named the camp at the request of the Columbus Rotary Club. NYT is the worst!
