Foolish comparison, my friend. All blood goes through same screening. If facts show a segment in the population that has higher infection rates in black women (I made that up for this exercise), should black women be banned from giving blood? Seems very 1950s to me.

Anyone should be able to give blood. The problem comes when sloppy collector companies don't do a full testing for not only HIV, but for other problems that could be transmitted to recipients.
