I remember Jimmy Carter asking everyone to set their thermostats to 65° I was living in WI at the time. We all laughed and turned our thermostats up to 65° Thanks Jimmy for tellinging us to stay warm that winter.

I'm sure many already have by opening up churches and municipal buildings offering supplies and necessities in emergencies only to replenish in the future. In flyover country people are always at the ready to give of themselves.

It’s fine to ask those of us living in Michigan to turn down our thermostat temperature. However, using the State’s emergency alert system in a robo alert on our phones, was overstepping the governor’s authority.
