I was hoping for secession. Then again, would the federal government have recognized the three Californias as states or recognized one and treated the other two in the same manner as Puerto Rico or Guam?

Well what did you expect the California legislation would not let the red sections go they were gonna be dominated by blue districts and nothing would change and would not let the red section separate away from the major far left strongholds
