        On average, their “language network” is smaller compared to monolinguals. Brain regions that specifically support language are smaller and less active, perhaps reflecting highly efficient processing. We don’t know if this is a cause, or a result, of polyglotism.

        Infact, most people in India are trilingual-English and Hindi apart from a native vernacular language are taught in Schools and spoken. Not uncommon, some speak many Indian languages, more than ten!
