I thought everyone knew this? They're a toxic alt-right troll site, masquerading as a legitimate comic site. I really wish the publishers would stop sending them comps. It just gives their hate some legitimacy...

I knew about them, but just didn't think about their Twitter until they tagged me in some nonsense along with a bunch of comics gaters. I didn't know companies were sending them stuff.

That's the word on the street. Someone *cough* who worked with one of those companies could let them know and hopefully freeze them out.

I already sent an email to people from one of the companies that I'm currently working with that's following the account.

To be clear- this is what I was told by a mutual friend, I don't know for sure. (but if so, it'd be great if they stopped it...)

This is why I don't advocate running block chain on every account like this. Some people can genuinely follow people in error. That MIGHT even be the case for D&C in very niche cases, but SO much abuse stems from there, I found it necessary for piece of mind.

Luckily I'm already following LF so they didnt get caught in the crossfire anyways But I suppose that's an advantage I have, as someone who isnt in the industry, that I can more indiscriminately blockchain people & if I see someone I know rt/quote them I can selectively unblock

Yeah, it's your page, do your thing. I just don't do it, because I feel like there's way too much collateral damage on some of these accounts, but NO excuse to follow D&C.

Full disclosure, used to write for this website, used to think a whole lot of bullshit and bought into their narrative of "damn sjws ruining comics". The EIC (John Trent) is a complete twat and used to "joke" about throwing immigrants and Clinton voters off of planes.

Silver lining, if there's any, knowing I was venturing on the side of assholes like this was one of the declics to get educated about feminism and intersectionality. Two years and some change later I'm about as far from their opinion as it's possible to be. But damn was I a moron

As a reformed anti-feminist myself, I love to read stories like this. People need to hear that it’s okay to make mistakes and learn from them. Thank you for sharing.
