Energy companies can push someone onto a prepayment meter when they can’t pay their bills. This means they have to ‘top up’ in advance to keep the lights and heating on.💡

Earlier this year, we told you about Peter Gilroy’s fight for a vital home adaptation – he needed a new kitchen so he could use his oven without first removing his prosthetic leg. As a result of our story, Peter can now resume his love for baking pies 🥧

When Luz took her daughter to a neighbourhood supermarket, Emily’s eyes had been drawn to the sweets by the tills. The seven-year-old asked for a chocolate bar. She chose one, but had unknowingly picked out a packet of cigarettes instead 🚬
Luz said: "As a mother, you always try to see the best for your children. Whenever I got out with my girls, there are always promotions for cigarettes in the stores next to the candies and gum that children like so much."
