My Mississippi peeps, I want to start an outreach in my hometown to spread Black history information to our young people to give them some foundation of our history. If you would be so kind I appreciate any ideas, thank you.

Peonage is alive and well in the USA, it's still being practiced in my home state of Mississippi. The new Governor approves of for profit prisons by the way.

Only change your attitude if you’re disrespectful. Focus on doing what you should. Block out everything else and protect your self esteem (self value). Believe you did good if you did.

My therapist dropped a gem: you can’t spend your life avoiding heartbreak or bad things from happening. You have to condition yourself to have appropriate emotional responses but learn to keep moving forward.

In remembrance of . Don't bother thinking back to grade school to figure out if it was taught because it wasn't in most cases. If you don't know the story, please see this video and search for the many sources out there.

Sadly this still goes on. Asking: have any of the Prez candidates talked about this?
