    Bob Tountas, who served as UPD’s quartermaster, retired 8/31/21. He plans to spend time with his wife and travel. Bob said he would greatly miss “the camaraderie & friends that were made.” Congratulations Bob! You will be missed and we wish you the best in your retirement.

    Police Officer Clayton Bower has been promoted to the rank of sergeant and will be responsible for supervising police officers assigned to the patrol division. Clayton has been a patrol officer for over four years. He previously served as a field training officer.

    Sergeant Ronnie Huddleston has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and will be responsible for supervising the patrol division. Ronnie has been employed with the department for 14 years. He previously served as a sergeant in the criminal investigations division.
