Believe me, I know. It doesn't have to cost an abusive amount. Magic can buy 1s and 2s, HS doesn't have that option

But many competitive singles you'll be buying will out-pace the cost of collecting a good chunk of a HS set rather quickly.

I guess I just don't understand why anyone would ever defend the cost, even if you find it affordable, why not push for more accessibility
