I don't hate playing cups instead of ladder, I think it could work if the meta didn't make the rounds take too long. There were always ~3 high level pros who low rolled who missed playoffs in the old system so there being a handful of good players missing Vegas isn't unexpected
Didn't get there for Vegas, got 10 top 8's and played 4 finals. Don't hate the system even though I got the short end of the stick. Prob not playing any more HS this year but if next year they make any improvements I'll try again. Hoping all my friends that made Vegas do well.
