    From the beginning of the year until today, the Syria Civil Defense has responded to more than 43 drownings calls in northwestern . Our water rescue teams rescued 20 and pulled 41 dead bodies out of the water.

    In , the situation is getting worse for the families in the besieged neighborhoods by the regime's forces and Russia. The civilians are fleeing their homes, 300 families are taken as hostages by the regime's forces, who are using them as human shields.

    A number of our volunteers participated in the evacuation operations and prepared shelters for the civilians whom homes were burned in Antalya. We offer our condolences to the families of the victims, to the people of Turkey, and hope for a speedy recovery for the injured.

    We couldn't stand by and do nothing in the face of this natural disaster, so we sent an official letter to the Turkish government expressing our readiness to participate in extinguishing the fires with the capabilities and expertise that we have.

    Our stand as the Syrian Civil Defense (White Helmets) beside Turkey in fighting the wildfires is not only a feeling of solidarity but a humanitarian and a moral duty that we have for the Turkish people, who stood with the Syrians for more than a decade.

    Our teams have extinguished more than 1,475 fires in NW from the beginning of the year till 31 of July. Including 110 fires in camps, 450 farmlands fires, and 75 forest fires. The fires killed 12 people, and 161 got injured.
